About The Scent Shed
The Scent Shed was founded in Kent - the Garden of England - with a simple intention: to create refillable candles inspired by the quiet beauty of gardens, greenhouses and woodland spaces.
Iām Kerry, the maker behind The Scent Shed. What began in 2022 as a small candle studio has grown into a brand focused on thoughtful design, sustainable making and botanical scent. I believe scent should feel grounded and familiar - like soil on your hands, herbs warming in the sun, or a walk beneath trees - not overpowering or overly perfumed. Not too sweet.
Each candle vessel is handmade in small batches using eco-friendly Jesmonite, designed to be refilled rather than replaced. Once the candle is finished, the pot remains - reducing waste while becoming a lasting part of your home. Our wax is clean-burning, and our scents are creating using phthalate-free fragrance oils blended with essential oils where they add depth and authenticity.
Every vase is handmade and designed to complement your refillable candles while feeling grounded, organic and considered.
The Scent Shed is intentionally small and slow. Every piece is hand-poured and carefully finished in my Kent studio, with subtle variations that make each one unique. The result is a collection of refillable candles that feel calm, so tactile, and considered - made to live with you through the seasons, not just for a moment.
