The Shed Pots are all handmade using a sustainable substance called Jesmonite which, once set, has the look and feel of concrete.

At The Scent Shed, we only use a coconut-rapeseed blend which ensures a clean burn. We will never include paraffin wax in our candles.

Each scent blend is developed in-house using a combination of essential oils and high-quality fragrance oils. This ensures a natural scent throw.

It’s so easy! And so satisfying… simply add hot water to the inside of your pot to remove the small amount of wax remaining along with the wick holder; wipe the pot clean with some paper towels or a cloth. Ensure it is completely dry, then drop your new refill in, light and enjoy!

To get the most from each candle, it’s super important that you allow the candle to burn all the way to the outer edge on its first burn. The wax pool needs to meet the edge of the candle. This can take between 1-4 hours depending on the size of your candle. Then for every burn thereafter, ensure the wick is trimmed and straight before lighting, and only burn for a maximum of 2 hours each time.

Yes - each scent blend is registered and full GHS labels can be found on the wax refills for you to stick to the base of your candle.
